From April 19 to 23rd, the 8th Annual Thunder Bay Environmental Film Festival has a great line-up of impactful, inspiring, and youth-made films including the Canadian screen award winner Painted Land:In Search of the Group of Seven.  Film researchers, hosts, co-producers Gary and Joanie McGuffin will be attending the Earth Day screening Saturday April 22nd 7 pm at Lakehead University’s Bora Laskin Theatre.  Everyone is invited to the Thunder Bay Art Gallery for the Festival Reception following the film. The McGuffins will be giving an expanded presentation about connecting the cultural story of Painted Land with the Building of Trans Canada Trail’s 1000 km Lake Superior Water Trail.  There will be a Q & A with the McGuffins. Complimentary appetizers & refreshments are provided.
